Rachel “KOSA” Hebert

is a contemporary landscape artist and wild lands advocate based in the western United States.

She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Arizona State University in 2020 and has been featured in numerous publications and exhibitions since. Her work has awarded her multiple scholarships and residencies including the Magpie Springs residency in Montana and the Maynard Dixon Legacy Museum residency in Utah.

In 2021, she took a break from artmaking to hike 3000 miles along the Continental Divide.

She is currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts degree at the University of New Mexico and spends her summers working as a wilderness ranger in the isolated high peaks of California’s Sierra Nevada range.
